Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.sunzu.ai and the Sunzu research workspace (the "Service"), operated by Alpha Base OS Ltd ("Sunzu," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind yourself or the organisation you represent to these Terms. Use of the Service on behalf of an organisation constitutes acceptance of these Terms by that organisation.

2. The Service

Sunzu provides an agentic research workspace for building and querying synthetic audience models grounded in customer data. Access to the workspace is subject to a separate commercial agreement. These Terms govern use of the public website and, to the extent not superseded by your commercial agreement, the workspace.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the site and within the Service, including text, graphics, logos, product design, and the Sunzu behavioural model, is the property of Alpha Base OS Ltd or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

4. User content licence

When you submit content to the Service (including data uploads, research notes, or feedback), you grant Sunzu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, store, and process that content for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. We do not acquire ownership of your content, and we do not use workspace data to train models for third parties.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
  • Upload data for which you do not have the legal right to use or share.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying model or codebase.
  • Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive, harass, or harm any person.
  • Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise access to the Service without our written consent.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data belonging to other users.

6. Third-party links and integrations

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services (including Figma, Jira, and Miro). These are provided for convenience only. Sunzu makes no representations about external content, products, or services, and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party resources.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Synthetic research outputs are designed to support, not replace, human research judgment. Sunzu does not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific business decision.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunzu's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Sunzu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sunzu and its officers, directors, and employees from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or within the workspace. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including IP, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
